This bathroom remodel was all about clean lines and modern details. The homeowner wanted a fresh, bright look -- white tile walls, a frameless glass shower door with black hardware, hex tile on the floor, and a rain shower head. We also did a matching half bath down the hall to tie the whole space together. Every piece was chosen to work together, and I installed it all myself from demo to final walk-through.
What Went Into This Bathroom
Project Photos
Frameless glass door with matte black hardware against clean white tile.
Full shower view showing the tile layout and glass enclosure.
Shower niche with a decorative medallion accent -- small details that make it feel custom.
Rain shower head centered in the white tile surround.
Full bathroom view with hex tile floor and modern fixtures throughout.
The matching half bath -- same style carried through the whole home.
It's All in the Details
A modern bathroom like this lives or dies on the details. The grout lines have to be consistent. The glass door has to be perfectly plumb. The hex tile on the floor has to line up with the threshold. The shower niche has to be waterproofed properly before that decorative tile goes in.
These are the things you don't see in a photo but you absolutely feel when you use the bathroom every day. When the door swings smooth, when the water drains right, when nothing is crooked -- that's the result of getting the details right during the build, not trying to fix them after.
